Access to Calais
- For participants who wish to travel to Calais by train, there are 2 stations:
- CALAIS VILLE is in the centre, opposite the town hall. It has regular connections to Lille, Dunkerque and Boulogne sur mer. It is located 2.5 km from the university centre; the connection is made via the N°4 bus line.
- CALAIS FRETHUN INTERNATIONAL is an international TGV station, in the village of Fréthun (7 km south-west of Calais). It welcomes high-speed trains (TGV and Eurostar) from or to Lille (0H30), Brussels (1H00), London (1H00) and Paris (1H30).
The link between Calais-Fréthun and Calais-Ville is by bus or regional train. There is also a taxi rank at the exit (RDC) of the Calais-Fréthun station.
Access to the conference venue
The conference will take place at the Centre Universitaire de la Mi-Voix: 50 Rue Ferdinand Buisson 62100 Calais. The hotel *** Ibis Calais Car-Ferry is located at 5 minutes by foot.
The university centre is served by the N° 4 bus line. Coming from the city centre to the university, take bus number 4 in the direction of “Utrillo” and get off at the “Vadez” stop, the bus passes by the Calais-ville SNCF station and the theatre;
